Marci Hill moved to Los Angeles from the San Francisco Bay Area to attend California State University Northridge, where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre.  She has performed in over 20 plays and is long-time member of The Road Theatre Company, where she served on the Artistic Board for 11 years.  She co-starred in an episode of the primetime TV show Angel. She starred in the independent feature Sham and she has done several commercials. Additionally, she was featured in an L.A. Weekly article entitled Rattling the Cage: Theatre Artists You'll Be Hearing From.

In college, she performed in the university's touring Shakespeare troupe and has acted in such classics as Tartuffe, Twelfth Night, The Merchant of Venice and Machinal as well as the musicals Jesus Christ Superstar and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. However, she has devoted most her time and talent to new works of theatre, including the Los Angeles premieres of Craig Lucas’ Prelude to a Kiss, Jack Heifner’s Home Fires, Tom Jacobson’s Tainted Blood, Ann Noble’s The Pagans, Carson Grace Becker’s A Mislaid Heaven, and the World Premiere of Mark Lee’s An American Romance. She is grateful to have worked with some of L.A.’s most talented directors, including Ken Sawyer, Scott Cummins and Michael Michetti. She directed the West Coast Premiere of Ballad Hunter and assistant directed The Angels of Lemnos.

Her performances have garnered her a Drama-Logue Award, several ADA Awards, a Robby Nomination and Back Stage West Garland Award Honorable Mentions. She is also an award-winning producer and costume designer, having produced over 10 multiple award-winning plays. She is the recipient of an Ovation Award for her costume design of Napoli Milionaria.

In her spare time, she leads teams abroad to do short-term humanitarian work.  She served 5 weeks in Kenya in 2005 as well as 4 weeks in Zimbabwe in 2006, supporting camps that teach leadership skills to youth.  In 2007, she led a medical team down the Amazon River near Manuas, Brazil and then headed back to Africa to work with kids orphaned by A.I.D.S. in Kenya.
